The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service

Without the help of the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service & their wonderful team, Lucas may not be here with us today. They operate as part of the NSW Emergency Services & they have two dedicated base operations at Tamworth and Broadmeadow in Newcastle, out of these two bases they run four helicopters. They currently undertake over 1400 missions each year - to which we are very, very grateful. To find out more about donating to this wonderful team follow the link below.

Ronald McDonald House Charities

I would also like to mention the Ronald McDonald House Charities - at John Hunter Hospital they have a Ronald McDonald Family Room where families of patients are able to use the facilities, including the use kitchen, laundry & a much needed shower! It is a much needed room for families to have a little break from hospital life, I know both Russell & I both needed showers after a few days in ICU & with home being almost an hour away, it was nice to know that these facilities were available. If you would like to support this fantastic charity please follow the link below.

John Hunter Hospital & Wyong Hospital

Both of these hospitals were absolutely fantastic with their quick treatment & care of Lucas. They were fast to treat him & made all of our stay at the hospital as comfortable as possible. The staff at both hospitals will never know how truly grateful we are for everything that they did for us.

Please also note that we do not accept donations, but if you would like to donate to any of these charities please follow the links to do so.
